For the fourth instalment of the UNEDITED podcast, which features some notable interviews I did for The Vancouver Sun and presented in their entirety without any trims, I had the pleasure to chat with Oscar-nominated Indo-Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta.
Her latest film Beeba Boys is based on true events as reported in The Vancouver Sun by crime reporter Kim Bolan. I talked with Mehta about Beeba Boys, cultural identity, and her love of gangster movies ahead of the Vancouver International Film Festival.
