UBC RCMP has called in the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team after a man’s body was found just after noon Thursday on the grounds of the university president’s home.
Cpl. Brenda Winpenny said in a news release that the death appears “suspicious in nature.”
She said university RCMP responded to the property of Norman MacKenzie house about 12:30 p.m.
UBC president Arvind Gupta is not in the country, according to news reports.
